R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, Ronald B. Conner has submitted an application to
the City of Beaumont for a license to operate a taxicab service
within the corporate limits of the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has hear,,.1 and considered
whether the demands of public convenience and necessity require
such proposed or such additional taxicabs within the city; the
financial responsibility of the applicant; the number, kind and
type of equipment to be used; the increased traffic congestion on
the streets of the city which might result; whether the safe use of
the streets by the public, both vehicular and pedestrian, will be
preserved by the granting of such additional permits; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
acceptance of said application will serve the demand of public
convenience and necessity and that same should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT said application submitted by the above-named to the City of
Beaumont be, and the same is hereby, in all things accepted.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
