RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, The Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate 1,iord,
owners, "nave requested the City of Beau�rkont to allow heoi to
en.croach to cross Calder Avenue with a one-half inch ( 1 /2" )
diameter message cable extending from the Southeast corner of St.
Elizabeth Hospital ' s west parking garage at a height of
twenty-five feet (25 ' ) , crossing Calder Avenue aL a right angle
for a distance of seventy feet ( 70 ' ) and will be connected to a
GlAlf States Utilities pole adjacent to Lot 4, 3j-(-)ck 19 of the
,T---Irrett Addition, as depicted on Exhibit "A" attached hereto;
and,
WHEREAS City staff has expended considerable time and
effort in investigating the effect of such encroachment upon the
City an(l ut-1-11 -iLies serving 'Che sattie; and ,
WHEREAS, it appears that it would be equitable to allow
such encroachment at this tirne;
NOW, THEREFORF, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and lie is hereby, authorized to execute
a License to Encroach to The Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate
Word to cross Calder Avenue with a one-half inch (1 /2" )
diameter message cable extending from, it rye Suutheast corner of St
Elizabeth FospiLal ' s west pH.rkingf garage at. a height of
twenty-five feet (25 ' ) , Crossing Calder Avenue at a right angle
for a distance of seventy ( 70 ' ) on property generally known
as the Calder Professional Ruildina 2929 C;:- 1'e_r Avenue) .
