WHEREAS, on May 23, 1988 bids were received for the
purchase of a diesel-powered truck chassis and cab-mounted with a
hauling body for use in the Public Works Department` and,
WHEREAS, Knapp Chevrolet of Houston, Teas submitted
a bid in the amount of $29, 427 . 00 ® and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Knapp Chevrolet is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL Or THE CITY OR BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Knapp Chevrolet in the amount of
; 29 , 427 . 00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for the purchase
of a diesel-powered truck chassis and cab-mounted with a hauling
body for use in the Public Works Department.
