WHEREAS, bids were received for the lease/purchase of a
copier for use on the third floor of City Hall; and,
WHEREAS, Xerox submitted a sixty ( 60 ) month
lease/purchase bid in the amount of $1 ,046. 25 per month for
equipment; $512 .85 per month for maintenance (guaranteed for one
( 1 ) year and thereafter limited to increases relative to agencies
receiving government pricing, not to exceed ten percent ( 100) per
any twelve (12 ) month period) and copy charges of :t .006 for any
copies exceeding a base allowance of 41 ,200 copies per month;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Xerox is the lowest and best bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Xerox for the lease/purchase of a
copier for use on the third floor of City Hall be, and it is
hereby, accepted by the City of Beaumont.
