R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, on April 11 , 1988, bids were received for an
annual contract to furnish liquid polymer; and,
WHEREAS, Calloway Chemical Company of Columbus, Georgia
submitted the following bid:
Price Per Pound Cost Per MG
$.75/lb $1 .88/MG
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Calloway Chemical Company is the lowest and best
bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Calloway Chemical Company be accepted
by the City of Beaumont in the amounts stated for an annual
contract to furnish liquid polymer.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this

1988 Community Development Street Rehabilitation Program; and,
WHEREAS, A. W. Busby Constructing, Inc. submitted a bid
in the amount of $184 ,451 .00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by A. W. Busby Contracting, Inc. is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by A. W. Busby Contracting, Inc. in the
amount of $184, 451 .00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for the
1988 Community Development Street Rehabilitation Program.
