R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 28, 1988, bids were received for an
annual contract for the purchase of hot mix cold laid asphaltic
concrete; and,
WHEREAS, Apac-Texas of Beaumont, Texas, submitted a bid
in the amounts listed below:
F.O.B. Plant: $ 26.00/ton
Mileage from Public Works to Plant: 1 .50 miles
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Apac-Texas is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Apac-Texas in the amount listed above
for an annual contract for the purchase of hot mix cold laid
asphaltic concrete be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
