R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of 35,000
refuse containers to be used in conjunction with the automated
refuse trucks; and,
WHEREAS, Applied Products, Inc. of Statesville, N.C.
submitted the following bid:
33,000 90 gal. containers $56.45 ea. $1 ,862,850.00
2,000 60 gal. containers 51 . 45 ea. 102,900.00
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Applied Products, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Applied Products, Inc. in the amounts
stated above be accepted by the City of Beaumont for the purchase
of 35,000 refuse containers to be used in conjunction with the
automated refuse trucks.
