WHEREAS, on April 4, 1988 , bids were received for the
purchase of a truck-mounted asphalt patching machine for use by
the Operations Division of the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, H. D. Industries, Inc. of Jacksonville, Texas,
submitted a bid in the amount of $56 , 935. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS , the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by H. D. Industries, Inc. is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by H. D. Industries, Inc. in the amount of
$56, 935. 00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for the purchase
of a truck-mounted asphalt patching machine for use by the
Operations Division of the Public Works Department.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
