WHEREAS, Jefferson County has recommended and approved
the sale of the properties described as the N. 50 ' of Lots 1 , 2 &
3 , S. 90 ' of Lot 3 , W 1 /2 of Lot 2 and the W. 60 ' of Lot 7 , Block
C, Isaac Black Addition; Lot 1 , Block 15, Blanchette 2nd
Addition; and Tract 83 out of Tract 15 , Plat B-3 , J. W. Bullock
Survey to W. H. Marmion for the amount of One Thousand Three
Hundred Dollars ( $1 , 300.00 ) ; arid,
WHEREAS, because such properties are being held in
trust by Jefferson County for the City of Beaumont and the
Beaumont Independent School District, it is necessary for all
three entities to execute deeds to such properties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Maurice Meyers, Mayor, be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute Deeds Without Warranty to W. H. Marmion transferring the
interest that the City of Beaumont may have in the properties
described as the N. 50 ' of Lots 1 , 2 & 3 , S. 90 ' of Lot 3 , W 1 /2
of Lot 2 and the W. 60 ' of Lot 7 , Block C, Isaac Black Addition;
Lot 1 , Block 15 , Blanchette 2nd Addition; and Tract 83 out of
Tract 15 , Plat B-3 , J. W. Bullock Survey to W. H. Marmion for the
amount of One Thousand Three Hundred Dollars ( $1 , 300 .00 ) .
