R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, on September 22 , 1987 , City Council awarded a
contract to Lupton Painting Co. in the amount of $28,000 .00 for
painting the exterior of the elevated water storage tank located
at 13th Street and Laurel Avenue; and,
WHEREAS , Change Order #1 was executed for $5, 183.25
increasing the contract amount to $33 ,183.25; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the painting of the exterior of the elevated water storage
tank located at 13th Street and Laurel Avenue is hereby accepted
by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is
hereby, authorized to make final payment to Lupton Painting Co.
in the amount of $33 , 183. 25.
