WHEREAS, on December 22 , 1 987 , City Co-inc:i i awarded a
contract to John Bankston Construction Co. in =.'r._3 amoulit of
$83 ,666. 00 for installation of a 48" reinforced. :�or1C:CE.t:e pipe at
the Fire Training Grounds; and,
WHEREAS, on March 9 , 1988, Change Ord.E!C #,€1 wiis executed
for $1 , 681 . 20 increasing the contract amount to $85, 3417 . 20; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been complet&d :i_n a(,cordance
with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY rHt3
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMO:NT :
THAT the installation of a 48" reinforced concrE:te p pc at the
Fire Training Grounds is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont
and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorizei3 i.o make
final payment to John Bankston Construction Co. in t..-IC: amount of
$16 , 183 . 97 .
