WHEREAS, on March 21 , 1988 , bids were received for a
six-month contract to purchase lubricants; and,
WHEREAS, Martin-Matthews Oil Co. of Beaumont, Texas,
submitted a bid for automatic transmission fluid in the amount of
$. 72 per quart; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Martin-Matthews Oil Co. is the best bid
submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Martin-Matthews Oil Co. be accepted by
the City of Beaumont in the amount of $. 72 per quart for a
six-month contract for the purchase of automatic transmission
fluid for various city departments.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
