WHEREAS, on March 28, 1987 , bids were received for an
annual contract for the purchase of asphaltic concrete delivered
to job sites for the Public Works operations Division; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Tx-Tx Corporation of Port Arthur, Texas,
submitted a bid in the amounts listed below:
Unit Price
Zone 1 $23. 05/ton
Zone 2 23 .05/ton
Zone 3 23.05/ton
Zone 4 22 .55/ton
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted above are the lowest and best bids and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Texas Tx-Tx in, the amounts listed above
for an annual contract for the purchase of asphaltic concrete
delivered to job sites be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
