BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to make
application to the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development for a grant in the amount of Four Thousand Dollars
( $4 ,000 .00 ) under the Emergency Shelter Grants Program to assist
in the operation of an Emergency Shelter for the homeless.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Four Thousand Dollars
( $4,000. 00 ) of reprogrammed Community Development Block Grant
funds be, and they are hereby, allocated and appropriated as
local match for such grant.
