WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 88-6 , passed January 12, 1988 ,
vacated and abandoned a 20-foot wide sanitary sewer and drainage
easement that extends 874 feet along the length of Tract 3 , South
Parkdale Addition, F, Bigner Survey, with the provision that:
"The abandonment would not take effect until the new
sanitary sewer line in West Ridge Lane, and the
extension of that line west along the south property
line of Tract 3 , South Parkdale Addition is tested and
accepted by the city, and a new easement is dedicated
and accepted by the city to accommodate the section of
the sewer lying outside the West Ridge right-of-way" .
and,
WHEREAS, the easement has been executed and an eight
inch (8" ) sanitary sewer line has been relocated to West ridge
Lane and extends west along the south property line of Tract 3 ,
South Parkdale Addition for a total distance of 1 ,024 feet; and,
WHEREAS, the construction has been inspected and
approved by the Water Utilities Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept
for city maintenance, the easement and the new sanitary sewer
line, as described above.
