R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 7 , 1988 , b:i ds were received for the
purchase of 'Lour (4) diesel-powered truck cab and chassis with
fifth wheel and trailer package; and,
WHEREAS, Smart' s White GMC of Beaumont, Texas,
submitted a bid in the amount of $216 , 954. 44; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Smart' s White GMC is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Smart' s White GMC for the purchase of
four ( 4) diesel-powered truck cab and chassis with fifth wheel
and trailer package be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
