R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on February 15, 1988, bids were received for
repairs to the city' s 36" raw water line under the Neches River
at Lawson' s Crossing and construction of an intake structure at
Lawson' s Crossing; and,
WHEREAS, Ercon Development Co. submitted a bid in the
amount of $162,135.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Ercon Development Co. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Ercon Development Co. in the amount of
$162,135. 00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for repairs to
the city ' s 36" raw water line under the Neches River and
construction of an intake structure at Lawson' s Crossing.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
