WHEREAS, on February 8 , 1988 , bids were received for
the purchase of a rubber track excavator; and,
WHEREAS, Universal Tractor and Equipment of Beaumont,
Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of $16 ,799; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Universal Tractor and Equipment is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT;
THAT the bid submitted by Universal Tractor and Equipment for the
purchase of a rubber track excavator in the amount of $16,799 be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1988.
