R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Gulf States Utilities Company presently has
pending before the Public Utilities Commission of Texas an
application for a rate increase, Docket No. 7195; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont has expended funds for
witnesses and attorneys in such case; and,
WHEREAS, such expenditures were reasonable and
necessary expenditures by the City of Beaumont for participation
in such case;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the expenditure by the City of Beaumont of $166,638.18
dollars for the payment of expenses and fees of witnesses and
attorneys is hereby approved and found to be reasonable and
necessary.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1988.
