R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City has contracted with Texas Commerce
Bank - Beaumont as a depository for investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Commerce Bank - Beaumont wishes to
release the following securities being held at the Federal
Reserve Bank Dallas - Houston Branch effective January 26, 1988:

00245372 Cypress Fairbanks, 4.80%; due 2/01 /88 $ 50,000.00
00245373 Terrell GO, 5.40%; due 2/01 /88 35,000.00
00245366 Baytown GO, 5.75%; due 2/01 /88 50,000.00
00245375 Spring Branch ISD, 5.50%; due 2/01 /88 90,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Texas Commerce Bank - Beaumont be permitted to release the
above-described securities and a certified copy of this
resolution shall constitute the approval of such release as
evidence of the authority of said bank to make said releases.
