WHEREAS, on November 30, 1987 , bids were received for
an annual contract for the purchase of limestone base; and,
WHEREAS, T-Mix Materials of Beaumont submitted a bid in
the amount of $10 .98 per ton for an approximate annual
expenditure of $54,900 plus transportation costs; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted above is the lowest and best bid after
consideration of transportation costs to the City and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by T-Mix Materials in the amount $10.98
per ton plus transportation costs for an annual contract for
the purchase of limestone base be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
