R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City has contracted with Texas Commerce
Bank - Beaumont and Spindletop Savings Association as
depositories for investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, Texas Commerce Bank - Beaumont wishes to
release the following securities being held at the Federal
Reserve Bank Dallas - Houston Branch effective December 15, 1987:
RECEIPT NO. DESCRIPTION PAR VALUE
Livingston ISD, 5.50%; $ 30,000.00
due 12/15/87
and,
WHEREAS, Spindletop Savings Association wishes to
release the following securities being held at the Federal
Reserve Bank Dallas - Houston Branch effective December 8, 1987:
RECEIPT NO. DESCRIPTION PAR VALUE
U. S. Treasury Bond; 9 7/8%; $ 700,000.00
due 11 /15/2015
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Texas Commerce Bank - Beaumont and Spindletop Savings
Association be permitted to release the above-described
securities and a certified copy of this resolution shall
constitute the approval of such releases as evidence of the
authority of said banks to make said releases.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
