WHEREAS, -.171'esolution 87-77 authorized the execution of a
lease agreement with the Department of the Army for property
located at 3040 College Street; and,

'-j ZEAS, the resolution provided for a five (5 ) year
term, with five ( 5 ) year periods of extension not to exceed beyond
April 2, 2040 ; an.-,,
WIHEREAS, the U. S. Department of the Army prefers the
resolution to state the terra of the lease as fifty-three (53 )
years ending April 2 , 2040;
