WHEREAS, on May 26, 1987, City Council awarded a
contract to E. R. DuPuis Concrete Company, Inc. in the amount of
$45 ,438.48 for the Transit .1daintenance Facility Parking Lot
Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was approved for the repair
of an additional 267 square yards of parking lot and increased
the contract amount to $53,993 .16 ; and,
T11HE'ITZEAS, Change Order No. 2 is being proposed to adjust

the contract quantities to reflect the actual work performed and
provides for the additional work required to block out around the
existing fence posts; and,
WHEREAS, this project is funded by a grant through the
Urban Mass Transportation with local -funding in the amount of
seven percent (7=� ) ;
0 THE RE FORE, BE IT 1RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAU11ONT:

are hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City lManager
be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 2 in
the amount of 5621 .75 to the contract between E. R. DuPuis
Concrete Company, Inc. and the City of Beaumont increasing the
total contract amount to $54, 614 . 91 and is authorized to make
final payment to E. R. DuPuis Concrete Company, Inc. in the
amount of $3,205. 75.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the total. city contribution
to the project will be equal to seven percent ( 7%) of the total
project cost.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
