WHEREAS, on March 2, 1987, bids were received :I'=or a six
month contract for lubricants; and,
WHEREAS, Tri-Con, Inc. of Beaumont, Texas, sut- pitted a
bid in the following amounts:
Engine Oil $ 2.09/Gallon
Hydraulic Oil 1 .80/Gallon
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Tri-Con, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should
be extended for an additional six-month period;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Tri-Con, Inc. be extended for a
six-month period until March 10 , 1988 in the amounts stetted above
for the purchase of lubricants.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
