R E S O L U T I O N
T'3HEREAS, on April 1 , 1986, City Council awarded a
contract to Excavators and Constructors, Inc. in the amount of
$973 ,701 .50 for the Highland Avenue TIP Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 is being submitted which
include payments to the contractor for additional demolition work
occurring as a result of unforseen underground conditions;
NOT-T, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAU•iOt T:
THAT the Highland Avenue TIP Project is hereby accepted and the
City Engineer is authorized to issue a certificate of acceptance.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT The City 14anager be, and he
is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 3 in the amount
of : 156,300 . 79 to the contract between .Excavators and
Constructors, Inc. and the City of Beaumont for the Highland
Avenue TIP Project increasing the total contract amount to
$1 , 166, 928.44 and is authorized to make final payment to
Excavators and Constructors, Inc. in the amount of $74,060.38.
