R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, City Council awarded a contract to Baytown
Construction Company in the amount of $249,357.25 for the 1986
Street Rehabilitation Program; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being submitted to
adjust all payment line items in the original contract proposal
to include final quantities used for the completion of the
project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the above-described project is hereby accepted and the City
Engineer is authorized to issue a certificate of acceptance. The
City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change
Order No. 1 in the amount of $27,937. 77 to the contract between
Baytown Construction Company and the City of Beaumont for the
1986 Street Rehabilitation Program increasing the total contract
amount to $277,295.02 and is authorized to make final payment to
Baytown Construction Company in the amount of $13,864.75.
