R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, on August 10, 1987, bids were received for the
city' s Marina Expansion - Structural Steel - Phase II Project;
and,
WHEREAS, Swain Construction Company submitted a bid in
the amount of $240,338 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Swain Construction Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Swain Construction Company be accepted
by the City of Beaumont in the amount of $240,338 for the
city' s Marina Expansion - Structural Steel - Phase II Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the bid awarded to Swain
Construction Company shall exclude the alternate bid item, line
no. 3 to furnish and install 3 each - 65 feet x 75 feet metal
buildings.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 4&k day of 1987.
