R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Kinsel Motors has applied to the Ccxint:y for a
refund of overpayment of 1984 and 1985 city taxes in the amount
of Two Thousand One Hundred Thirty Dollars and EightEsEffl C'e:nts
( $2,130.18 ) ; and,
WHEREAS, the County Tax Assessor/Collector has notified
the city of the error and has requested a refund of the above
amount; and,
WHEREAS, State law requires the approval of thE! City
Council for all tax refunds in excess of Five Hundred Dollars
($500) ;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the refund of Two Thousand One Hundred Thirty Dollars and
Eighteen Cents ( $2, 130.18) to Kinsel Motors for the o,%t,erpayment of`.
1984 and 1985 city taxes be approved.
