WHEREAS, on May 13, 1937, bids were received for the
purchase of an electronic meter reading system for use by the
Water Commercial Division of the Water Departiie-nL; and,
WHEREAS, Porta-Printer Systems, Inc. of Large, Florida
submitted a bid in the amount of S38,515; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of 'the oldinion that the bid
submitted by Porta.-Printer Systems, Inc. is the lowest and best
bid meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Porta-Printer Systems, Inc. be acceped
by the City of Beaumont i-n the amount of $38,515) for the purchase
of an electronic meter reading system for use by the Water
Commercial Division of the Water Department.
