Hospital, agent for owners, Sisters of Charity oL the Incarnate
Word have requested ted Lhe City of Beaumo.nt to allow them --o encroach
2 . 54 feet into the Calder Street right-of-way and 10. 16 feet into
the 14th Street right-of-way; and,
WHEREAS City staff has expended considerable time and
effort in investigating the effect of such encroach;:fient — on the
City and utilities serving the same, and,
WTH.t R7—AS, it appears that it would be equitable to alloy
such encroach=vent at this tir;�e;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1T RESOLVED BY HE
CITY COUNCIL 07 THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a License Co
Encroach for Sister M. Carmelita Brett, St. Elizabeth Hospital,
agent for owners, Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word to
encroach 2 , 54 feet into the Calder Street right-of way and 10. 16
feet into the 14th Street right-of-way for a one-time license fee
paid to the City of Five Hundred collars ( $500 ) .
