HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 87-121 fVl : 0 , t, y. R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, in September, 1985, City Council awarded a contract to Thomas H. Heard General Contractor, Inc. in the amount of $1 ,836,072 for Sanitary Sewer Improvements Contract 17A & 17C; and, WHEREAS, on October 28, 1986, City Council authorized Change Order No. 1 to increase the contract amount by $194,596.70 ; and, WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is being submitted to adjust the contract quantities and to reflect the actual work performed by a reduction of $21 ,111 .80 to the contract; and, WHEREAS, the project has been inspected by the engineering staff and is in conformance with the plans and specifications; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute Change Order No. 2 to the contract between Thomas H. Heard General Contractor, Inc. and the City of Beaumont for Sanitary Sewer Improvements Contract 17A & 17C at a reduction of $21 ,111 .80 . BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to make final payment to Thomas H. Heard General Contractor, Inc. in the amount of $100,477.85.
