WHEREAS, on June 1 , 1987, bids were received for Sanitary
Sewer Improvements Contract 17E, Separation Sewers Central (Wall
Street) ; and,
WHEREAS, Cafi Company, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount
of $1 , 921 , 140.25; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Cafi Company, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Cafji Company, Inc. be accepted by the
City of Beaumont in the amount of $1 , 921 , 140.25 for Sanitary Sewer
Improvements Contract 17E, Separation Sewers Central (Wall Street) ,
contingent upon Environmental Protection Agency approval.
