R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on April 28, 1987, City Council awarded a
contract to Swain Company, Inc. in the amount of $388,853.60 for
the Henry Homberg Golf Facility Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 6 is being submitted to
adjust the contract quantities and to reflect the actual work
performed, thereby decreasing the contract amount by $2,873.72;
and,
WHEREAS, the project has been inspected by the
engineering staff and is in conformance with the plans and
specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 6 to the contract between Swain Company, Inc.
and the City of Beaumont, for the Henry Homberg Golf Facility
Improvements Project and to make final payment to Swain Company,
Inc. in the amount of $23,460.31 .
