R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of three (3)
loaders equipped with backhoe attachments; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:
Equipment Headquarters, Inc. of Beaumont
One (1 ) 15,000 lb. loader with a backhoe $ 40,750.00
attachment
One (1 ) 30 inch bucket 675.00
Preco Machinery Sales, Inc. of Beaumont
One (1 ) 14,000 lb. loader with a backhoe $ 24,318.28
attachment
One (1 ) 14,000 lb. loader with a backhoe $ 26,286.66
attachment and a closed canopy
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted above are the lowest and best bids and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted above be acceped by the City of Beaumont in
the amounts stated above for the purchase of three (3) loaders
equipped with backhoe attachments.
