R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on April 14, 1987, City Council awarded a
contract to Bo-Mac Contracting, Inc. in the amount of $62,248
for the Marina Expansion, Phase I Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is being submitted and will
increase the contract amount to reflect a $6,400 difference; and,
WHEREAS, the amount of $6,400 exceeds ten percent ( 10%)
of the contract amount and, therefore, requires Council action;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 2 to the contract between Bo-Mac Contracting,
Inc. and the City of Beaumont, for the City' s Marina Expansion
Phase I Project for a price increase of $6,400, increasing the
amount of the contract to $68,648.
