R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on bids were received for the purchase of
uniforms for the Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:
Factory Sales of Houston
Item Quantity Amount
Work Pants 342 @ $20.85 ea. $ 7,130.70
Night' s Uniform Company of Beaumont
Shirts 361 @ $12.85 ea. $ 41638.85
Officer's Pants 28 @ $26.35 ea. $ 737.80
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted above are the lowest and best bids and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by above be accepted by the City of
Beaumont in the amounts stated for the purchase of uniforms for
the Fire Department.
