WHEREAS, on April 13 , 1937, bids were received for an
annual contract to furnish liquid polymer to be used by the Water
Production P-LanL; and,
WHEREAS, N;-;-ilco Ciiemica.l Company of Naperville submitted a
bid in the amount of $.79 per pound or approximately $18, 960; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Nalco Chemical Coitipany is the 'Lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Nalco Chemical Company for an annual
contract to furnish liquid polymer to be used by the Water
Production Plant in the amount of 1,;.79 per pound or approximately
$18,960, be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
