R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on April 13, 1987, bids were received for the
purchase of fire hydrants; and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supplies, Inc. of
Beaumont, Texas submitted the following bid:

50 3 ' 6" hydrants @ $422.00 $ 21 ,100.00
10 4 ' 0" hydrants @ $428.00 4,280.00
10 4 ' 6" hydrants @ $435.00 4,350.00
5 5 ' 0" hydrants @ $442. 00 2 ,210.00
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supplies, Inc. is the
lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supplies,
Inc. be acceped by the City of Beaumont in the amount for the
punccase of fire hydrants.
