R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to make
application to the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development for a grant in the amount of One Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($150,000 ) under the Emergency Shelter Grants
Program to secure an Emergency Shelter Grant for the homeless;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Thirty Thousand Dollars
( $30,000) of reprogrammed Community Development Block Grant funds
be, and the same is hereby, allocated and appropriated as local
match for such grant.
