WHEREAS, on April 15, 1986, City Council awarded a
contract to Blachsher and Son, Inc. in the amount of $404,394.20
for 11th and North Streets Drainage Project; and,
WHEREAS, on September 2, 1986 , Change Order No. 1 was
executed and on October 29, 1986, Change Order No. 2 was
executed; and,
WHEREAS, Cliange Order No. 3 is being subymitted and will
increase the contract amount to reflect a $2,272 .50 difference
between Change Order No. 2 and the final estimate; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed and is in
accordance with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 3 to the contract between Blacksher and Son,
Inc. and the City of Beaumont, to accept the 11th and North Street
Drainage Project as being costa-plete and to make final payment to
Blacksher an(3 Son, Inc. in the amount of $33 ,280 . 46 .
