R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on march 9, 1987, bids were received for a three
(3 ) year contract for street sweeping services; and,
WHEREAS, Northwest Sweeping, Inc. of Houston, Texas
submitted the following bid:
Central Business District $ 15.60/curb mile
Arterials 24.89/curb mile
Additional Work
Scheduled $ 85.00/hour
Unscheduled 125.00/hour
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted above is the lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted above by Northwest Sweeping,Inc. be accepted
by the City of Beaumont for a three (3) year contract for street
sweeping services.
