BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Mrs. William W. Phillips and Mrs. Roy Lee Zummo are hereby
appointed to the Community Development Block Grant Citizens
Advisory Committee replacing Nell Clark and Tandy Stiles,
respectively, with terms expiring May 31 , 1988 and that Roy M.
Philp, Jr. be appointed to the Parks and Recreation Advisory
Committee replacing Mark Frasher with a term expiring June 30,
1988.

R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Beaumont deems
it necessary that M. L. King, Jr . Pkwy./Spur 380, in the City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas be located, constructed, widened,
extended and maintained; and,
WHEREAS, said City Council has found that a public
necessity exists requiring the location, construction, widening,
extension and maintenance of said street on the hereinafter
described property; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it necessary to acquire
the hereinafter described interests in and to the hereinafter
described property for said location, construction, widening,
extension and maintenance of said street, and has found and
determined that said interests in and to the hereinafter described
land is suited for such purposes and that it is necessary to
acquire same for said purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Beaumont, through its duly
authorized representatives, has negotiated in good faith with the
owners of the hereinafter described land and has been unable to
agree with such owners of such property as to the fair market value
thereof and damages, if any ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
