R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 18, 1986, City Council awarded a
contract to John Bankston Construction Company for the construction
of the Pine Street Landfill closure in the amount of $1 , 422,996.99;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is being recommended to
adjust contract bid items to reflect actual quantities of material
installed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract between John Bankston
Construction Company and the City of Beaumont for construction of
the Pine Street Landfill closure and make final payment to the
contractor in the amount of $86,884.85.
