R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 2, 1987, bids were received for
six-month contracts for supplying lubricants for the Fleet
Maintenance Division; and,
WHEREAS, Tri Con of Beaumont, Texas submitted bids in the
amounts of $2.09 per gallon for engine oil and $1 .80 per gallon
for hydraulic oil and Martin-Matthews submitted a bid in the amount
of $.69 per quart for automatic transmission fluid; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted above are the lowest and best bids and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted above be accepted by the City of Beaumont
for a six-month contract for supplying lubricants for the Fleet
Maintenance Division.
