WHEREAS, on February 9, 1987, bids were received for the
purchase of three (3) 14-cubic yard dump trucks, five (5) 2-cubic
yard dump trucks and one (1 ) 8-cubic yard dump truck; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:
Atterbury Truck Sales, Beaumont, Texas

Knapp Chevrolet Company, Houston, Texas

and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted above are the lowest and best bids and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted above be acceped by the City of Beaumont in
the amounts listed for the purhcase of three (3) 14-cubic yard dump
trucks, five (5) 2-cubic yard dump trucks and one (1 ) 8-cubic yard
dump truck.
