WHEREAS, the Most Reverend Bernard J. Gantor has tendered
a 4. 952 acre tract of land for right-of-way purposes for the
proposed Delaware Street Project out of the H. Williams League to
the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the purpose of
said donation and is of the opinion that the acceptance of said
donation of property is necessary and desirable and that same
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT said right-of-way tendered by the Most Reverend Bernard J.
Gantor to the City of Beaumont be, and the same is hereby, in all
things accepted.
