WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for
the purchase of various sizes of reinforced concrete pipe; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
Pyramid Concrete Pipe:
12" $ 4. 34 plf
15" $ 4.94 plf
18" $ 5.59 plf
Box Culvert $901.25 ea.
National Concrete Products:
21" $ 6.99 plf
24" $ 8.49 plf
30" $ 12. 04 plf
36" $ 17.73 plf
42" $ 24. 85 plf
48" $ 30. 62 plf
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted above are the best bids received and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids osubmitted above be acceped by the City of Beaumont
and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into
one (1) year contracts with the above vendors in the amounts stated
for the purchase of various sizes of reinforced concrete pipe.
