WHEREAS, on September 9, 1985, City Council awarded a
contract to Merrill Construction Company, Inc. for the construction
of the Carroll Street Park Drainage and Landscape Plan in the
amount of $52,404; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept
the construction of the Carroll Street Park Drainage and Landscape
Plan as complete and to make final payment to Merrill Construction
Company, Inc. in the amount of $40,293 .83 .
