WHEREAS, Morris Beck, et al, has requested the City of
Beaumont to allow him to encroach on the north two and one-half
feet (2 1/21 ) of an existing seven and one-half foot (7 1/21 )
utility easement on their property in Dowlen Manor Unit One; and,
WHEREAS City staff has expended considerable time and
effort in investigating the effect of such encroachment upon the
City and utilities serving the same; and,
WHEREAS, it appears that it would be equitable to allow
such encroachment at this time;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a License to
Encroach for Morris Beck, et al, to encroach upon the north 2.5 ' of
an existing 7.5 ' utility easement on their property in Dowlen Manor
Unit One, for a one-time license fee paid to the City of Five
Hundred Dollars ($500) .
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
